Now, it was peeing it down last night, BIG TIME, and I had to go pick up the car (4×4) from the other side of town. The rain was that hard that I aquaplained the car. Happiest of days – not. Luckily it was only a bit of skating, not a full blown roll it off the road. But on the way back, I though, bloody Nora, that sky looks evil – I nearly took a photo, but I didn’t….and it seems that we had a mini tornado! Get us! Look at this thread to view :

Wasn’t that rain bad? Luckily I didn’t have to go anywhere on Monday night, otherwise I would have been drenched.
Hope the vets appointment went ok and that Poppy is back to her normal self.
Hey Jo – it was horrid – I had the wipers on full and I still couldn’t see out of the windscreen! It was like something out of Twister the movie – I expected to see a cow come flying down onto the ‘hood’ of my car!
Poppy is back to normal thanks, but ANOTHER visit to the vets over the weekend for some kind of gastro bug that meant she emptied her bowels over Mr Vegs’ front seat….oh, THAT was FUN!!!!!!!! But shes okay now…….Mr Veg is not!!!
